01

Start with a floor plan

List workstations, meeting rooms, access points, phones, and surveillance endpoints. Include likely additions so that the design reflects how the space will be used.

02

Make the pathways maintainable

Review cable routes, rack locations, and access for future changes. Coordinate pathways and penetrations with the building and electrical teams before installation.

03

Agree the handover standard

Define outlet identifiers, patch-panel labels, port schedules, and the required test reports before the installation starts.

04

Document future capacity

Record spare outlets, available rack space, and planned expansion areas. A maintained record makes future changes easier to scope.
